Ukuleles are inexpensive, portable, light, and fun for both children and adults to play. They are great for children in hospitals and for adults in nursing homes. Learning to play the ukulele can be an excellent introduction to music for children who may not have access to school music programs or lessons. Playing the ukulele with others can even foster world peace!
